IIA’s Accessibility Remediation Estimator is only an estimator. It allows you to estimate the amount of time it may take to remediate your website or application based on:
- The number of pages in the accessibility audit
- The number of developers you can allocate to the remediation
- The number of hours those developers will dedicate, on average, to the remediation effort
- The estimated average number of issues per page. We have started with 12, but that may need to be adjusted based on several factors, including complexity and age of the asset.
- Average time to remediate each issue. We have started with 3 hours, but that may need to be adjusted based on several factors, including complexity and age of the asset.
