Assistive Tech, Guided Hands, is approved for use by Apple Computing

The Guided Hands assistive technology is being used to select and word on a word board.

Guided Hands, an assistive tech developed by ImaginAble Solutions, is now recognized by Apple as a third-party assistive technology for people with limited mobility and featured on Apple’s accessibility page.

The device allows individuals with limited hand mobility to write, draw, paint, and use technology by utilizing shoulder motor skills instead of fine hand movements.

ImaginAble Solutions, based in Hamilton, Ontario, has experienced significant growth, including team expansion and surpassing a seven-figure sales milestone with global distribution in over 25 countries.

Originally developed in a university class using simple materials, Guided Hands is now a professionally manufactured product compatible with devices like the iPad and Apple Pencil.

Guided Hands has won over 40 international design awards, and CEO Lianna Genovese has received notable recognition such as inclusion in Forbes 30 Under 30 – Toronto and the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award.
