April is Autism Acceptance Month

Autism Society logo

The Autism Society of America recognizes that autism is more than a diagnosis. Autism is a deeply human identity, community and a lived experience. Like all lived experiences, it comes with unique challenges, triumphs and joys. For these reasons, the Autism Society of America is proud to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month in April.

Throughout the month, the Autism Society will engage the Autism community through awareness events, educational resources, and advocacy initiatives. The goal of Autism Acceptance Month is to uplift Autistic voices and create pathways for neurodiversity inclusion.

You can help celebrate by creating your own content, engaging with the Autism Society’s content and donating to the Autism Society.
