Listen Technologies and Ampetronic said Vue is installing Auri across cinemas in the U. K. and Ireland. Vue is an Auracast broadcast audio listening system.

The rollout has reached 20 Vue cinemas and gives more than a quarter of Vue’s customer base access to better audio experiences.

Auri lets guests use compatible hearing aids, cochlear implants, headphones, or earbuds, and also supports audio description and quieter listening for people with other needs.

Vue chose the system for its audio quality, low latency, reliability, and easy installation and management.

The companies say the deployment is an important step for cinema accessibility and a sign of growing Auracast adoption in public venues.
