Following a successful pilot in August, Be My Eyes is expanding live visual support to 50 train stations across the United States, including major hubs such as Chicago (Union Station), Los Angeles, Denver (Union Station), New York, and Washington DC.
That means more locations where you can access free, on-demand visual assistance from trained Amtrak agents, offering a professional, premium service beyond the standard volunteer support available through the Be My Eyes app.
You can find the Amtrak profile on Be My Eyes Service Directory.
Using the Be My Eyes app, you can connect with trained agents at Amtrak who can help you:
- Find the right track or gate
- Read departure boards and signage
- Navigate large or unfamiliar stations
- Handle those “Where do I go now?” moments with confidence
All you need is your smartphone and the Be My Eyes app (iOS or Android). You can find Amtrak in the Travel & Transportation section of the Service Directory.
If you’re passing through one of the participating stations, give it a try. We’d love to hear how it works for you. You can find more information and a list of available stations in the Be My Eyes blog.
